Languages Supported

FastLynx 3.3 supports English, German, and Dutch.   The language displayed is determined by the locale selected in the Regional Settings in the Windows Control Panel.

Requirements

FastLynx 3.3 offers fast USB transfer when running on Windows 98, ME, 2000, or XP.  When running on Windows 95, 98, or ME, FastLynx offers serial, parallel, TCP/IP, and named pipe client connectivity.  When running on NT 4, 2000, or XP, it also offers named pipe server support. A DOS slave is included to allow for serial and parallel connectivity with DOS or Windows 3.x systems.

USB Cable

The FastLynx USB bridge cable is 3 meters (about 10 feet) in length and comes in both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0.  When running on Windows 98, ME, 2000, or XP, you can use it in conjunction with FastLynx 3.3 software to transfer files quickly and safely between two computers via their USB ports.  Transfer rates of up to 900,000 bytes per second can be achieved with USB 1.1, which is 9 times faster than typical parallel transfer rates and 45 times faster than typical serial transfer rates.  with USB 2.0 you can transfers files at up to 480 Mbps.

FastLynx Active Extension Cable

USB 1.1 Active Extension Cable

The FastLynx Active Extension cable can be used to increase the distance from the USB device and the PC, very handy if space is limited.   As many as 4 of these cables can be used in series to extend the device distance to an extra 20 meters. Some useful uses is the remote monitoring of digital and web cameras as well as allowing for printing in another room with needing a network printer.
