The FastLynx 3.3 FREE TRIAL program comes as a self-extracting 32-bit Windows installation program. It will only run on Windows 95/98/ME or NT 4/2000/XP (or later). Just run the downloaded .EXE file from Explorer, the Windows "Run" command, or a Windows command prompt and follow the instructions.
The trial version of FastLynx 3.3 allows you to transfer up to 10 files or 10 MB of data each time it is started. Otherwise, it has all of the capabilities of the full version. The trial version is freely distributable, meaning we encourage you to pass it on to friends, family, and colleagues.
FastLynx 3.3, and its trial version, both support three languages: English, German, and Dutch. The language displayed is determined by locale selected in the Regional Settings in the Windows Control Panel at the time that FastLynx starts up.
IMPORTANT: To use the trial version with a cable, you need to have the correct type of cable. The serial cable is a fairly standard null-modem cable. The parallel cable must be a "parallel data transfer" cable. Any type of printer cable, including an IEEE 1284 cable, will NOT work even if it has the correct type of connectors on the end. The FastLynx USB Bridge Cable is a special cable with an embedded chip containing active electronics. Standard USB cables (without the embedded chip) will NOT work for file transfer and could damage your computer.
Download the file fx33trial.exe and execute it from your local drive and follow the on screen instructions.
